Refund Support Vocations Program RSVP*
Paul Young
Through RSVP, the Knights are helping build the priesthood. The Archdiocese of Atlanta is generous in its financial commitment to educating seminarians, and our program complements this effort by helping fund travel, entertainment, and other sundry expenses the men incur during their period of discernment and studies.
During 2017 we provided financial and moral support to two Saint Jude the Apostle summer seminarians. Our goal is to grow our support both in terms of the number of seminarians we assist and the dollars we provide.

Monastery Gift Sales
Jon Peterson
During the holiday season, the Knights in Georgia host a special fundraiser for the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, selling their famous Monastery fudge, fruitcake and biscotti. In 2016, the Saint Jude Council raised $4,416 for our brother monks. Our 2017 donation to the Monastery is $6,188, a 40% increase!
This tremendous growth was driven, in part, by an innovative online pre-sale website, designed and managed by one of our Council members. The success of our online pre-sales capability presents us with the opportunity to extend the service to Councils state-wide. Online pre-sales will be a great benefit to the Monks, as it provides tremendous visibility for their products and brand, and helps them plan production more efficiently.
Parish Posada – Journey to the Inn
An all Parish re-enactment of the story of Christ’s birth based on the Spanish tradition of Las Posadas — meaning “the inns” or “the shelters” — as they gave emphasis to Mary and Joseph’s search for shelter before Our Savior’s birth. The tradition of the Posada helps us to remember the first Christmas in a way that unites people of faith from throughout the American continent. The event brings together people of many cultures in faith and the celebration..
