What do the Saint Jude Knights of Columbus do?
The Saint Jude Knights are servant leaders and volunteers who are always at the ready to serve and support our parish and community, through the many programs we sponsor, partnerships with Parish and local community organizations, or just diving in to help where we’re needed
Who can join the Knights of Columbus?
Membership in the Saint Jude Knights of Columbus is open to males 18 years of age or older who are practicing Catholics, and members of Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic Church.
Why should I join the Knights of Columbus?
If you want to grow in your Catholic faith, be a better husband and father, enjoy the camaraderie and support of other Catholic men in the parish, and most importantly, serve our parish and community in tangible, meaningful ways, you should become a Knight.
Will becoming a member take up a lot of my time?
As a Knight you choose the level of participation and the programs and projects you want to be involved in. You will get out of being a Knight what you put into it.
How often do the Saint Jude Knights meet?
Our full Council meets once a month – every second Thursday - from 7:00-8:30 pm.
Do I have to purchase insurance to be a member?
No. Unlike many fraternal organizations, one does not become a member by purchasing insurance.
In the Knights of Columbus, a man has to be a member before he may avail himself of the insurance benefit. Purchasing insurance is optional, however; the life insurance and long-term care insurance products offered by the Order are not only competitively priced, they are among the most solid and highly rated products available anywhere.
